Another day, another absent Sam. Oh, the power. I'm expecting at least three phone calls checking I haven't burnt down the Union during the day. Any less and I'll be disappointed.

My 'to do' list is still enormous, but now that my confirmation letters are almost done I'm feeling dangerously in control of the situation. This is of course completely untrue. But I've been in work for nearly 45 minutes and I haven't done anything except eat a very salty bacon bap Frodo brought me.

We need more water in the water cooler. Or an open shop. Actually that'd be better; a carton of milk would be just perfect. I'm looking forward to buying a croissant in Freddy's each morning when term starts. Cereal is far too time-consuming. I'm feeling particularly profound today.

I didn't ring you once!

In fact you just came into my office to explain yourself to me...

Now Carolan, Almost the last thing that I want you to feel is that I'm adopting a stalker role on the Bangor SU - but I have to say that I'm extremely impressed that Sam and yourself are still blogging after all of this time! - How has your Summer been - it's true that I through browsing your blog properly I could ascertain this! but perhaps that would only deepen suspicions around this sudden spate of contact, not to mention the furrows on Ellies brow if she heard that the cause of so much lateness and fixture withdrawals remained a presence.

I've been rather busy in Bedfordshire throughout the Summer, attempting to herd children into and (much to the teacher's delight) out of classrooms before helping the teachers prepare activities for them - not to mention trying to book attractions and coaches to run to & from - this naturally leads into Italian group leaders writing "F" on our trip report cards and myself becoming angry at them when I hear that they had, in fact, a wonderful time!

However I have now reached the end of my contract, and have turned labourer for my father - whilst enjoying my new E-bay laptop, the enthusiasm for it's internet capabilities are spilling into your blog as I transcribe.

Anyway, I thought I would say Hello! - keep tabs (not to mention watchful hawk-like eyes) upon those brash Rugby League members, and I will try to leave them to their own devices - an offer came for me to continue updating their website for them, which I declined. And yet have updated the website to try and promote them more, all because of this net-enthusiasm, certainly no fickleness of character here Goggins.

All my best & if you find me at Serendipity, trying to steal my baby back, then please help me, through a call in social services. It's not whistleblowing and your doing me a favour.

Heyy Ben! How's it going? Nice to see you popping by to keep an eye on things. Summer's been pretty good -- quite busy but fun. I like this job. Had a pretty stressful week this week trying to get Serendipity sorted but it's just about done now. Still lots to do before the first years arrive, but I feel more on top of things now.

Don't you worry, I'll keep an eye out for Rugby League, and I will prise it from your firm grip cos letting go is healthy. But I'll also keep you updated so you can watch from afar. But come to Serendipity anyway! It'll be fun! Any plans to come visit sometime? As in next week? Ah go on, you will.
